You’ve been in business a while and I’m willing to bet you’ve purchased programs, pdf’s, and books to help you along the way.
In those, you’ve probably tried some great tools and by now, have forgotten about many of them.
As a creative entrepreneur, you’ve probably invested hundreds in pdfs and courses you’ve never used but what if I told you the cost of not using them was higher than the price tag?

I’d like to ask you a question: what good are these resources if they’re not being used?
For instance, if you’re a part of the inaugural class of Simple Growth, last year you decided to invest in yourself and your business and join me in that program. Inside my program alone, you have access to more than 30 pdfs including 10 that are specifically tools to benefit you. (Like the goals and planning mini workshop video, hashtag list, well of inspiration prompt guide, and action filters to help you make just right choices for your business.)
Having access to them is great and all but they’re 100% WORTHLESS if you don’t use them.
Same goes for the coworking calls and weekly check-in email. If you don’t use it, it doesn’t do a dang thing for you or your business.
Yes, using these resources does take time and some effort (because reading is effort and writing is effort but that doesn’t mean it has to be hard work!).
But what is the cost of NOT using them?
It’s easy to feel like “I’ll use them some other time” and then forget you even have access to these resources.
I want you to get the absolute MOST you can out of everything you’ve acquired for your business so that I means I want to encourage you to get familiar with everything included and USE IT! 😉
Members, If there’s only one tool you use regularly, I hope it’s the weekly check-in email or the action filters. Both small things, they can add up to really great change and growth when used regularly.
Imagine how much more you can get done if you are able to better focus, know you’re making the right decision for you and your business at the right time, and can better avoid pitfalls or setbacks and distractions!
It may not seem like much, taking 5 minutes to review the past week and check-in with yourself honestly about your plans + promises but it can be truly transformational! With the weekly check in, you can finally see what tripped you up AND you can see the way to avoid that in the future (or at the very least, get back on track again quickly if it does happen again).
When you have valuable resources that can help you create amazing goals (that you can actually achieve) and stay focused long enough to actually do the work to make those goals happen, well, it makes me sad if these resources are just gathering digital dust instead of helping you grow and achieve your dreams.
TLDR; Tools, books, and resources are all fine and dandy but they don’t do a thing for you if you don’t take ACTION. And not using them has a very real cost including things like staying stuck and not achieving your goals.
You thought these resources were valuable enough to purchase so value your investment and put them to work. Work through the resistance and watch what happens!
All that being said, if using the resources you’ve acquired feels more like you’d rather go bury yourself alive than use them, that might be some resistance coming up for you and I’d love for you to bring that to your coaching call where you can get tools to better deal with that. (And if you still feel like the cliffs are a calling, I give you permission to let it go and use what serves you best. Just know that your tools are always available, waiting for you when you are ready for them!).
