Through the foundational brand process, it became clear that we needed to communicate both a welcoming softness and strength. To achieve that in design, I opted to pair a more delicate, organic relaxed calligraphy first name with a bold, strong last name. Together, they achieve that soft/strong feeling Bethany was hoping for.
As you look at the various pieces of projects done with Bethany, you’ll see the inclusion of custom hand watercolored ferns that hint at her connection to nature in her work.
